Sports Based Projects

There are many opportunities for programming projects based on various sports. Keeping an athlete's training details or performance statisticsare not only opportunities to refine your database handling skills but are also opportunities for data processing. Programs to provide a results service for a school sports day, a locla championship or national league table are further examples.
Because of the range of possible sports, I have divided them into categories. However there is likely to be a good deal of overlap. When people such as yourself contribute new projects that do not fit any of the categories on the left I will add new ones.
